| The Centre of Alternative Teaching and Healing (CATH) in Bhaktapur is an initiative coming forth from our first project. What we have learned about development aid is realised in this second project. It is a complete Nepali organisation that is creating this Institute, that will organise it, with a Nepali board and Nepali teachers and personal. Rabindra Puri, the best organiser I ever met, is the motor behind all this. Our organisation (BIHC) is backing up the CATH with materials from Europe; so old books, laboratory facilities, laptops, medical instruments find a new life in Nepal. We garantee also 10 sholarships a year in the way poor students from remote areas will be able to attend the 3 years course, fully recognised by the Nepali authorities. In this way homeopathy will spread, not only in the Kathmandu Valley, but also in the remote areas where most of time there is no medical care available at all. We are proud to support this project. Our task will be apart of financial and material help to send experienced homeopathic doctors from Europe to assist in teaching and supervising the homeopathic clinic where students will learn homeopathy in practice. |
