Bhaktapur Homeopathic Clinic and Medical College

We are a non-governmental organization (NGO) that aims to improve health care in Nepal. We support the Nepalese project "Bhaktapur Homeopathic Clinic and Medical College” by raising funds and providing medical and other volunteers.
Nepal is one of the world's poorest countries. People live in very precarious conditions: lack of potable water, lack of a healthcare system, uncontrolled deforestation, high levels of environmental contamination in the cities and rapid population growth.

Bhaktapur is one of the three cities of the Kathmandu Valley, with 200000 inhabitants and virtually no healthcare. Since 1995 a group of European and Nepalese physicians from Bhaktapur began a project to create a center for homeopathic medicine: the International Homeopathic Clinic of Bhaktapur.

The clinic is managed by a Nepali team. It serves a large number of patients from across the country. It is also a vocational training center for future health assistents in the area of homeopathy and natural medicine.

The European doctors are on location on a monthly cycle to help Nepalese doctors in patient care and vocational training.

  • People who want to volunteer in the organization of the NGO in Europe
