Ongoing support
The project Bhaktapur Homeopathic Clinicand Medical College are funded solely with donations and the revenue generated by the medical consulting work. In many cases patients are treated for free as most have not the means to pay for healthcare. In addition to the costs of medical equipment, installations etc. the center is supporting a fixed Nepali team responsible for administration and patient care. A part from individual donations, ongoing support offers a great way to connect to the project. Ongoing support can be a monthly quota of 10, 20, 50 ... €, or can be a student sponsorship for 80 € a month. Of course working on the project in Europe or in Nepal is another great way to support. Bhaktapur Homeopthic Clinic Campaign: 1. A new home for the clinic and the Medical College We need a new building in order to be able to comply with the criteria of our recent accreditation as a Medical College. We were very lucky to find a suitable property in Bhaktapur where we plan to build the first floor of our new home this year. With this new building we will: better serve our patients provide an adequate learning experience provide accommodation for our students who come from all over the country Our challenge is to raise € 25 000 for the new building in 2011 in order to advance this important project. 2. Medical kit for students This year we will have the first class of students graduating from our school. To enable them a good start we need professional medical kits with a selection of basic medicines. With only 47 € you can sponsor one of these kits. |
